Rose & Antler

A Los Angeles based Wiccan Coven in the British Tradition

Welcome to Rose & Antler’s Jam-A-Thon 2024!

Here you can find the ingredients and descriptions of our offerings! After making your selections, please contact your R&A Jam Representative to place your order. From there, you will be contacted to coordinate a local delivery once the epic jamming is complete.

The first Jam-A-Thon, in 2019, was a fundraiser to go towards forging the coven sword. Since then, the coven has raised over $10,000 for various charities, year by year.  Our 2024 Charity is the Meow Meow Foundation!  It’s mission is to protect children with end-to-end drowning prevention and camp safety programming, eliminating preventable childhood drowning and camp-related injuries, deaths and abuse.

$8 for a 4oz jar
$15 for any two jars
$10 for a Thieves’ Oil
Buy the whole Wheel of Jam (all 8 sabbats) and we're including a 30ml Thieves' Oil as a special thank you.

The Jam-A-Thon is local to Los Angeles County. If you’re making special arrangements for jam to be shipped elsewhere, shipping will be calculated at the post office and you’ll be notified of your total.

Thank you so much for participating in this year’s fundraising and we hope you enjoy your jams and jellies!

Many blessings,
R&A

Cherry Amaretto Chili Jam

Ingredients: Black cherries, Amaretto, almond extract, Aleppo pepper, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), and sugar.

This has been a “secret” jam recipe for years, designed as part of a moon inspired series: Blood Moon Jam. Widely available this year for the first time!

Raspberry+Rose+Water+Jam.jpg

Raspberry Rose Jam

Ingredients: Raspberries, rose water, culinary rose oil, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), and sugar.

This year’s new rose-inspired jam is sweet and tangy. The discovery of the culinary rose oil was a game changer for this recipe.

We don’t know how many “rose themed” jams are out there or where imagination may lead, but this flavor may change year by year.

Pomegranate+Vanilla+Jelly.jpg

Samhain - Pomegranate Vanilla Jelly

Ingredients: Unsweetened pomegranate juice, 100% pure vanilla extract, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), and sugar.

Tart pomegranate rounded out with smooth and evocative vanilla. A sweet promise for the New Year to come. This jelly has a silky mouth feel and the color is just to die for!

Apple+Cinnamon+Jelly.jpg

Yule - Apple Cinnamon Jelly

Ingredients: Apple juice, lemon juice, brandy, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), Red Hots candy, sugar, and spices for mulling like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, mace and lemon peel.

This jelly is Yule in your mouth! Delicate apple warmed with the all the cheerful spices of the season; this jelly is based on the hot wassail recipe we drink every Yuletide.

Pear+and+Juniper+Jam.jpg

Imbolc - Pear and Juniper Berry Jam

Ingredients: Perfectly ripe pears, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), sugar, and ground juniper berries.

Juniper berries have a pine-like flavor, a resinous quality and are used to flavor gin. As such, this mid-winter jam is interestingly medicinal, appropriately winter-like and unexpectedly delicious.

Juniper berry is contraindicated for pregnancy and breast feeding.

Lemon Cardamom Marmalade.jpg

Ostara - Lemon Cardamom Marmalade

Ingredients: Lemons and rind, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), sugar, and cardamom.

To celebrate the Spring Equinox this marmalade tastes like sunshine in a jar. The tang is lovely, without much more pucker than a little smack, and the cardamom adds a subtle floral note.

Strawberry+Champagne+Jam.jpg

Beltane - Strawberry Champagne Jam

Ingredients: Ripe strawberries, prosecco, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), and sugar.

Love is in the air and strawberries are the star of the show; their flavor is at the forefront of this jam. Though the prosecco is only slightly detectable, it’s still alcohol. This one is for the grown-ups instead of the kids!

Blackberry+Basil+Jam.jpg

Litha - Blackberry Basil Jam

Ingredients: Blackberries, organic 100% pure sweet basil essential oil, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), and sugar.

Reminiscent of tromps through Summer Solstice woodlands. The basil lends a subtle green flavor. Perhaps a small offering on bread with butter, set out with milk, may please the Wee Folk… Dedicated to the Fae!

Basil is contraindicated for pregnancy and breast feeding.

Wheat+Lager+Lavendar+and+Honey+Jelly.jpg

Lammas - Wheat Lager Lavender Honey Jelly

Ingredients: Wheat lager, organic lavender flowers, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), and honey.

Lammas is the agricultural holiday for the first cutting of the grain. The beer flavor is the most prominent, the honey is a warmer sweetness than sugar and the lavender gives it just a hint of floral for a more complex finish. The bitter back taste is all beer, it’s weirdly wonderful. This might retain some of its alcoholic properties!

Cherry+Merlot+Sage+Jam.jpg

Mabon - Cherry Merlot Sage Jam

Ingredients: Black cherries, Merlot wine, sage, lemon juice, citrus pectin (plus calcium water for jelling), and sugar.

Pagan Thanksgiving, Mabon is all about the abundance of the harvest and the decadence it affords. Fruit of the vine and savory herbs compliment this sweet black cherry jam. This recipe really leads with smell, make sure to take a deep breath of the Merlot and sage before digging in!

Thieves%27+Oil.jpg

Thieves’ Oil

This recipe dates back to the 1400’s and is still used to support the immune system today. A warm and heady mixture of clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus, rosemary and rose essential oils in a fractionated coconut oil carrier. As with all natural remedies, consult your medical professional, use with caution and results are not guaranteed. Info is provided with purchase, do not take internally. It just smells really good…

Essential oils are powerful herbs! Best to skip this if pregnant or breast feeding!
